Bright Path Therapy and Wellness Center Current takes ComPsych, Humana and Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance plans. Patients that do not have these insurance plans can be provided a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please inquire with your insurance carrier to determine your benefits for out-of-network mental health. Please ask your insurance carrier the following questions: Do I have mental health insurance benefits? What is my deductible and has it been met? How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover? What is the coverage amount per therapy session? Is approval required from my primary care physician? Sliding scale- We do have reduced rates which we reserve for clients who are in need of financial assistance. For further questions about insurance and rates please contact our office.

Payment is due before or at the time of the session. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. You can easily make payments through the secure client portal.

There may be times you are unable to make it to your session. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call, email or cancel online as soon as possible. When you do not contact us to cancel the appointment, we are unable to fill that time slot with another client who may be in need of counseling. Please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your session in order to avoid a full session charge for the missed appointment.

All client-therapist conversations are confidential and private. The law protects the confidentiality of all communication between client and therapist. Prior written consent is required before any type of information can be disclosed. However, disclosure of client- Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately. If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim. If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
